The SA-2 is the successor to the original SA-1, featuring a chassis similar to its predecessor. The internal circuit layout has undergone significant redesign, substantially increasing output power by boosting the supply voltage and reducing output impedance.
Upgrade specs:
1. Output power increased from SA-1's 5.5 watts into 32 ohms to 10 watts into 32 ohms, with a maximum of 15 watts into 20 ohms; supports headphones down to 8 ohms minimum impedance.
2. Circuit optimization maintains ultra-low distortion even at high power output.
3. Enhanced thermal management with a copper block + aluminum alloy heatsink design;
4. Reduced impedance at the balanced headphone output, boosting current drive capability for greater pushing power;
5. Optimized PCB routing, adjusted DC bias circuitry, added DC servo design, and incorporated a GND/LIFT mode switch;
Supports global AC voltages 100V-240V without switching; identical hardware for China, Europe, US, and UK versions, differing only in included power cords.
Ultra-low distortion:
THD+N: -125dB @1kHz A-weighted (preamp, 5.2V RMS)
THD+N: -117dB @1kHz (balanced headphone output, 32Ω @8W)
Ultra-low noise: At low gain, floor noise is 500nV RMS A-weighted 20-22kHz (measured after LNA amplification); APX555 direct measurement is 830nV
Signal-to-Noise Ratio/Dynamic Range: SNR/DNR >146dB-AW
Frequency Response: 20Hz-80kHz ±0.1dB
The SA-2 employs a true quad-channel, fully independent, all-discrete Class A amplifier circuit design. Its pure analog amplification and control circuitry eliminate EMI interference from digital control, ensuring faithful reproduction of music's analog character.
The amplification circuit employs our proprietary Class A architecture. Differential input transistors utilize Rohm's ultra-low-noise audio-specific transistors in an SMD matched-pair design, ensuring consistency between differential transistors. Other transistors utilize audio-specific transistors with exceptional linearity for superior performance; the power supply employs high-current, ultra-low-noise LDO regulators.
The final output stage employs multi-stage current amplification, resembling the architecture of high-power amplifiers. Each channel utilizes two pairs of ON Semiconductor medium-power transistors with 4A drive current in parallel output configuration, guaranteeing sufficiently low internal resistance and formidable driving power. This design ensures composed performance even during high-dynamic-range passages.
Comprehensive protection features include: overcurrent, overload, overheat, short-circuit, DC protection, power-on delay, and instantaneous output relay disengagement during shutdown.
Multi-functional Versatility:
1. Supports single-ended and balanced inputs with seamless switching;
2. Features multiple output interfaces: XLR 4-pin true balanced, 6.35mm single-ended, and 4.4mm balanced connectors; also functions as a preamp with single-ended and balanced outputs;
3. Offers high/low gain settings—low gain effortlessly drives in-ear monitors and ultra-sensitive earphones (while maintaining inaudible noise floor); High-gain mode drives demanding headphones including high-impedance dynamic drivers, low-impedance planar magnetic drivers, and even ultra-low-sensitivity models like KK.
4. Supports high/low impedance output: High impedance suits high-impedance headphones; low impedance drives low-impedance but high-current-demand headphones. Switch freely between powerful, controlled sound and relaxed, analog-flavored audio.
Usage Recommendations and Precautions:
1. As the SA-2 is a fully balanced headphone amplifier optimized for balanced operation, the recommended configuration is: balanced input with balanced output. The secondary recommendation is single-ended input with balanced output.
2. If using single-ended, it is recommended to use single-ended input.
3. For highly sensitive headphones such as earbuds, high-gain mode is not recommended.
4. The ground switch defaults to GND mode. If loop ground noise occurs, switch to LIFT mode (floating ground mode)

If you have requested to cancel your order but the item has already been dispatched, you will be responsible for the return shipping costs if you choose not to accept the delivery. Once the order has left our warehouse, we are unable to cancel it.
Shipping Fees
Worldwide Free Shipping on SHENZHENAUDIO, Please allow 1-3 business days for conduct Quality Control in order to ensure the products quality.
If a customer would like the order reshipped, they’ll be charged a reshipment fee. Customers may also be subject to a restocking fee of up to 10%-50% of the product cost.
Which Couriers to Use
Given the amount of shipping partners we work with and the vast coverage area we serve, there are likely regions with much longer transit times than others. If you have any feedback, suggestions, or problems with the courier of your shipment, please feel free to submit a support ticket via the "Contact Us" button below.
Our goal is to provide our customers with the best shipping experience possible at a reasonable cost. And the transportation systems of airlines will also update regions and rates from time to time (especially for remote areas). This is why we constantly negotiate with existing shipping partners for lower rates and actively test new couriers for potential opportunities.
PO boxes or APO/FPO
The ability to ship to PO boxes or an APO/FPO address depends on the address. We won’t be able to ship to these addresses because of our current courier agreements.

Estimated Delivery Time
For customers in the continental United States:
5 to 18 business days from the date of shipping
For customers in Hawaii and Puerto Rico:
12 to 18 days from the date of shipping
International customers can expect longer shipping times, depending on the country in which they live:
Canada: 1 to 3 weeks from the date of shipping
Australia, New Zealand, Germany, France, and the UK: 1 to 2 weeks from the date of shipping
Other countries not listed above: 2 to 6 weeks from the date of shipping
Excepts the normal shipping above, fast shipping will usually take 3-7days in usual.
Please keep in mind that these are rough estimates and shipments can be delayed due to unforeseen circumstances, like postal strikes or severe weather.
If, for some reason, you don’t receive your order within the estimated time frame provided above and suspect that it might be lost in transit, please submit a support ticket from your transactions page and we can look into the order with the courier. Lost-in-transit requests must be submitted to SHENZHENAUDIO Support within 3 months of the date of shipping or before the courier archives the tracking information.
Easy 30-Day Return Policy
If you are dissatisfied with your purchase for any reason, you may return it to SHENZHENAUDIO within 30 days of the received date, subject to the conditions and exclusions below.
According to our warranty policy, if it is not related to product quality problems, and customer wants to return the product, the customer needs to request it and return it within 30 days upon product/parcel arrival, and the customer needs to pay the return shipping cost, as we’re not able to request return shipping label from courier partner at the moment, we need your help to check the return cost with the courier or Postal service, and please, you must inform us the tracking number once you shipped out the return product. Once we received the product in our warehouse, we will issue a refund for the product cost only (we will not cover the shipping cost from and to Shenzhenaudio warehouse). Return shipping within 7days upon product/parcel arrival will not charge restock fee.
Eligibility Conditions
Please read conditions below. If all conditions are not met, SHENZHENAUDIO reserves the right to refuse the return. All returned items must be in new condition, in their original unaltered box (including an intact UPC code) and must include all packing material, blank warranty cards, manuals and accessories. SHENZHENAUDIO can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees includes the restock fee are nonrefundable.
Defective or Damaged Items
Defective items may be repaired, exchanged or refunded at our discretion for the same model or manufacturer's equivalent model.
Exchanges
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary. Please allow 3-5 business days for mail-in exchanges to be processed.
Refunds & Credits
Once we receive and inspect your item(s), we will credit your account. Please allow 5-7 days for a credit to appear on your account. In most cases, we will issue your refund in the same way you made the original purchase. Please note: we can only refund the original purchase price. Shipping and handling fees are nonrefundable.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
