Missed MOONDROP's first CD player Discdream? After more than a year of development, they are proud to present the brand-new second-generation product of the DISCDREAM series: DISCDREAM 2 and DISCDREAM 2 Ultra.
Discdream 2 uses Cirrus Logic's flagship chip, and features 3.5mm headphone and 3.5mm multi-functional interface to meet the requirements. Additionally, it offers six linear voltage stabilizing chips that supply power independently.
DISCDREAM 2 continues the clamshell design that is more suitable for portable devices, reducing the potential damage that may occur during the disc placement process. It also features a new modernist contrast CMF design, and the surface is painted after molding to create a comfortable and soft texture.
Discdream 2 Ultra uses dual Cirrus Logic's flagship chip, and features both 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced headphone output, as well, it also comes with a 3.5mm multi-functional interface to meet the requirements. Besides that, it has seven linear voltage stabilizing chips that supply power independently.
The DISCDREAM 2 Ultra features a clamshell design that is ideal for portable devices, reducing potential damage during disc placement. It is made of high-precision CNC-cut all-aviation aluminum alloy, with a carefully polished surface, and a textured finish for a sleek look.
You might much familiar with MOONDROP TWS, they have provided many cost-effective and high-performance TWS offerings, today, another brand-new look joined their TWS lineup, MOCA, it features the newly configured 10mm high-efficiency wide-band low-distortion dynamic driver with TiN ceramic coated dome composite diaphragm. Now let's move to MOONDROP's wired IEM, Concerto, which was jointly created in partnership with DD HIFI (a well-known brand in the audio accessories/HiFi audio cables industry). It features xMEMS solid-state all-silicon Montara driver, and a patented 13mm superlinear planar driver. In addition, its cable consists of a data transmission cable and a signal cable.
MOONDROP’s K-Series not only established a benchmark for dynamic driver IEMs by leveraging the latest materials and technology, it also made repeated breakthroughs in dynamic driver performance. As the last release of the K series, Kadenz utilizes a ULT-Gen2 patented super-linear dynamic driver that delivers significant improvements gained through the design of earlier models, and incorporates a brand-new experimental TAC diamond-coated dome composite diaphragm.
Different from the previous models, Kadenz ships with the ECHO-B online interactive DSP USB-C decoding cable to achieve a DSP tuning function.
MOONDROP takes many years to develop their desktop sound system, here is their result: the M4P-MTM professional desktop passive monitoring speaker. It features Al-Mg alloy dome treble, double four-inch mid bass and large-size phase inversion, and uses MTM acoustic structure to deliver flat response, low distortion and high off-axis performance.
The high-end monitoring speakers require specialized loudspeaker drivers to meet their performance requirements. To address this, MOONDROP have designed two special high-performance loudspeaker drivers:
Dual 4-inch Kevlar braided cone-basin mid bass drivers: These drivers have a higher damping coefficient, better mid-frequency response, lower nonlinear distortion at high sound pressure, and produce a more natural and excellent quality sound.
Dedicated aluminum-magnesium alloy dome tweeter: This tweeter, matched with a special waveguide structure, delivers high-resolution, wide-band, and fast-responding treble, providing accurate details.
There are two sets of high-range and low-range terminals at the back of the cabinet. If users want to use an external active frequency divider to split the sound, they can disconnect the parallel bridge cable (pre-installed on the terminals) and connect the high-range driver and the mid-bass driver separately.
