Crafted for the discerning audiophile, this 12-driver-per-side pure BA IEM stands as a bold new milestone in MOONDROP’s XTM complex technology lineage.

In the AA12 model, MOONDROP has implemented the principle of three-frequency balance by designing a 4+4+4 three-way frequency crossover structure that features equal quantities and energy across all frequencies. They have also customized a unique four-in-one balanced armature driver module for this model, which, when combined with long-proven high-precision 3D printing technology, allows for improved consistency in both volume and sound quality.

AA12 consists of four custom stainless steel diaphragm balanced armature drivers, each with an open back. The sound consistency is precisely controlled through the four-in-one acoustic design, ensuring a bass signature that offers both deep extension and rapid response.

MOONDROP utilizes two sets of two-in-one composite balanced armature drivers in the mid-range frequency band, which are mixed through a Y-shaped acoustic structure. These drivers feature a lightweight aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm, which provides a wider frequency range and faster response compared to traditional aluminum diaphragm balanced armatures. As a result, this configuration produces clear and rich mid-range sounds for the AA12.

It consists of four custom miniature diaphragms that not only respond rapidly but also provide a wide coverage bandwidth. The four-in-one module, created using balanced armature packaging technology, enhances the consistency of treble production, ensuring precise treble and details.

Designed and adjusted by experienced acoustic developers, MOONDROP product undergoes rigorous and objective measurement to ensure high consistency of phase across all frequency bands. This results in more accurate sound orientation and a more natural timbre.

AA12 is equipped with a 0.78 2-pin socket, allowing users to expand their experience by replacing cables or accessories. To help users better match their equipment, MOONDROP provides a newly designed earphone cable with interchangeable plug. This cable is made from high-purity copper with a Litz structure, and features a newly designed screw-fixed interchangeable plug, combining aesthetic design with practicality.

This model comes with ddHiFi ST35 silicone ear-tips, which are based on an ergonomic design that conforms closely to the ear canal, providing better comfort than ordinary silicone ear tips.
