In contrast to traditional planar magnetic headphones, MOONDROP planar full-size headphones adopts an ultra-large 100mm-diameter diaphragm incorporating Full Drive Technology (FDT). It results in low-split vibration far superior to traditional planar magnetic headphones and comparable to that of electrostatics.
Ineffective circuits exist in the vibration area, and only the central part of the diaphragm is driven; the effective drive area is about 56.3%. The resulting divided vibration causes blurring of treble details and distortion of timbre.

Skyland features a highly acclaimed acoustic transparency open-back design that significantly reduces reflections caused by external decorations, allowing for clearer mids and highs. The structural edge next to the diaphragm is smoothly transitioned with a low-diffraction matte surface to minimize high-frequency diffraction, resulting in a natural and transparent sound.
To protect the diaphragm from damage during daily use, a metal protective grille is positioned at a considerable distance from the diaphragm. This grille is constructed using round-surfaced metal wires arranged in a sparse weave, which maintains the open-back acoustic qualities while providing reliable protection without impeding sound transmission.
Skyland incorporates a brand-new, ultra-light and ultra-thin diaphragm with a thickness of about 500 nanometers. This design approaches the limits of planar magnetic headphone technology, achieving an ideal vibration mode that delivers rich details, rapid response speed, and a balanced frequency response across the full range.

Skyland utilizes a multi-layer pure silver etching circuit that differs from the PARA series. This circuit enhances the uniformity of the Lorentz force acting on the diaphragm, effectively reducing split vibrations and creating a smoother, more balanced high-frequency range.
It incorporates Tension Balancing Technology (TBT) to further balance surface stress, which greatly improves the uniformity of diaphragm stress, maintains low distortion even under large dynamic, delivering an refined experience when coupled with high-end devices.
The integrated driver-cavity structure of the Skyland planar magnetic headphones is innovatively designed to create a space-stacked environment for the super-large FDT diaphragm and expansive magnetic circuit. This design ensures a complete, uniform magnetic field that covers the entire vibration area.
Skyland utilizes a high-strength, all-aluminum alloy CNC hollow structure, developed through extensive product experience, to support the magnetic circuit system and ensure long-term reliability.

Skyland adopts a universal double 3.5mm interchangeable cable design with an inclined angle, allowing users to freely replace cables to meet different requirements
It's equipped with a 4.4mm balanced cable made from high-purity single crystal copper, a 4.4mm to 6.35mm adapter crafted from the same material, and 4.4mm to XLR balanced Cannon four-core adapter.
Skyland features a carbon fiber elastic headphone strap that utilizes a dry-process carbon fiber hot pressing technique. This results in a product with high strength, elasticity, and damping characteristics, enhancing wearing comfort and reducing discomfort.
The headband is designed using flexible hollow 3D printing technology, commonly found in high-end professional sports and customized equipment. This innovation replaces traditional leather and fabric headbands, providing a larger contact area with the head for improved air permeability and superior elastic support, ultimately making them more comfortable to wear. Additionally, the multi-segment adjustable design at both ends allows for easy adaptation to different head sizes.
