Now, they're back with a whole new philosophy. Meet the MOONDROP MM3A: a five-mode, multi-purpose 3-inch HiFi active speaker. And at just $169.99/pair, it's ready to redefine what you expect from a compact speaker.

To improve bandwidth, enhance deep bass extension, and reduce distortion within a compact design, MOONDROP has developed an innovative driver configuration. This includes:

A 0.65-inch silk tweeter for flat and smooth treble extension

A 3-inch aluminum concave cone woofer for better mid-range frequency integration

And dual horizontally opposed 3-inch passive radiators for impactful bass extension and dynamics.

This unique configuration allows each self-developed driver to work in close cooperation, establishing a solid hardware foundation that exceeds size limitations in acoustic performance.

The woofer of the MM3A features a hidden inverted-R surround design along with a one-piece aluminum concave cone. It uses two N52 neodymium magnets that are integrally encapsulated in U-yoke, ensuring that the voice coil operates stably and efficiently within the linear range of the magnetic circuit. The surround is made from NBR rubber material and the DuPont CONEX spider , which offers better resistance to high temperatures, fatigue, and stability compared to conventional cotton cloth and blended materials.

MOONDROP has also independently designed a high-performance digital power amplifier circuit that efficiently drives speaker drivers. Each channel can deliver up to 33W of undistorted power, producing abundant sound pressure that easily covers living rooms, entertainment rooms, small recording studios, coffee shops, bars, and other spaces.

The MM3A features a high-performance digital filter with automatic frequency upsampling, resulting in greater accuracy. Coupled with a digital frequency crossover designed with high-precision DSP, it achieves precise frequency separations with lower power consumption, positioning the crossover optimally for different drivers.

Additionally, a dynamic enhancement algorithm further optimizes woofer performance, providing a richer and punchier listening experience even at lower volumes.

The MM3A showcases an entirely original, low-diffraction, multi-curved surface design that enhances off-axis response, offers more listening angles, and significantly improves the speaker's performance in practical applications.

It includes fine connection mode, including Bluetooth /USB/3.5mm AUX/ Optical/Coaxial, and supports LDAC transmission. 

The unique arc angle design of the MM3A aligns the tweeter and subwoofer to converge at the listening position, delivering a more accurate sound image for desk setups.

The package comes with sponge damping anti-shock pads, which provide excellent damping effects, reduce the impact of enclosure vibrations caused by loud bass on your desktop, and slightly elevate the speaker angle for better adaptability to various sitting postures.
