When MOONDROP first introduced the original EVO, it presented a compelling yet flawed proposition: a relatively affordable way to liberate your cherished IEMs from the constraints of a cable, but the battery-life shortcomings left users wanting more. Now, in its second generation, the EVO II arrives not merely as a minor update, but as a comprehensive reimagining of the wireless earhook concept. It takes the foundational idea of a wearable DAC/Amp and builds upon it with a vastly improved feature set, promising to be the high-fidelity, portable solution its predecessor aspired to be.During the development of the EVO 2, MOONDROP sought a solution to balance power consumption with performance.
After considerable research and experimentation, MOONDROP discovered that the digital power amplifier chip designed for driving miniature speakers in mobile devices offers lower distortion and a higher signal-to-noise ratio compared to traditional amplifier chips used for larger speakers. This chip can deliver high output with very low power consumption, achieving over 90% efficiency. It receives signals from the master chip through digital audio channels, minimizing internal interference and providing a pure, high-output audio experience.

The newly developed EVO 2 features a custom Bluetooth master control chip, the MOONDROP TWS-01, which boasts strong performance and lower power consumption. This chip, paired with the high-performance digital power amplifier, not only meets the demands for high output suitable for premium headphones but also supports powerful second-generation online interactive DSP functions. It is compatible with a variety of high-quality audio transmission formats, making it an exceptional choice for true wireless ear-hook headphones.

Thanks to its innovative high-performance design and a low-power customized master control chip fabricated with a 22nm process, the EVO 2 achieves an ultra-long battery life while delivering sufficient audio power. Even at 60% volume, it can last for 15 hours. With the charging case allowing for three full charges, users can enjoy a total usage time of up to 60 hours (15+45 hours).

Equipped with dual microphone arrays on each side, the EVO 2 ensures accurate directional sound pickup. This effectively shields against surrounding noise, providing a clear calling experience.

For gamers, tapping either panel four times activates low-latency game mode, making it suitable for various gaming scenarios, including FPS games.

The EVO 2's charging case is engineered with a crush-proof and water-resistant design. It provides robust protection against water, dust, and physical pressure. The charging port is integrated within the case for added safety, and a rotary pressure vent ensures reliable performance even in challenging conditions.

EVO 2 includes custom felt and sponge pads. The felt layer prevents scratches on the ear hook s' surface from contact with the charging case. Soft sponge inserts stabilize the ear hooks within the case, preventing shifting during storage.

The EVO2 now features a replaceable connector design. Simply remove the earhook connector to swap it with a FitEar or MMCX connector, allowing you to use earphones with FitEar or MMCX connector.
