The audio decoding chip is the heart of a digital music player, so it’s inevitable that hi-fi devices pursue sound quality by using the highest-quality decoding chips. DISCDREAM uses Cirrus Logic's flagship 32-bit MasterHIFI audio decoding chip to output pure high-quality analog signals.

Electricity plays a vital role in the sound, DISCDREAM adapts six linear voltage stabilizing chips supply power independently, uses a full set of automotive-grade ruby audio aluminum electrolytic capacitor, and three NDK audio-level crystal oscillator control clocks to deliver a warm, full, pleasurable listening experience.

The 3.5mm output of DISCDREAM provides ample power up to 500mW, enabling it to drive almost all in-ear headphones, earbuds, and even planar headphones with low sensitivity and low impedance. The additional 3.5mm linear output provides hi-fi quality 2Vrms standard level output even when connected to a high-end active speaker.

DISCDREAM is not only a truly portable hi-fi CD player, but also a desktop USB sound card. It can support PCM decoding up to 384kHz and DSD256 when used as a USB sound card, and it can also be used as a digital player with a Micro SD card.
