MOONDROP has officially announced their much-awaited Sparks TWS Bluetooth earbuds for the international market. Moondrop is a renowned brand when it comes to high-resolution IEMs with products like Moondrop S8Blessing 2Starfield and more. These are truly wireless stereo earphones with Bluetooth 5.2 version support and self developed app connectivity. It is going for US$ 89.99 and available in black, pink and purple colors, you could also get a match leather case at an additional cost of $5.

Due to limitations with Bluetooth and wireless music streaming, bluetooth earbuds have been nothing short of a revolution. Moondrop spent three years to research and design their stellar sound quality bluetooth earbuds, Sparks is based on Qualcomm QCC chip independently developed by its Bluetooth development team, supporting aptX Adaptive high-quality transmission. Featuring a high-efficiency magnetic circuit using N52 magnets that will ensure that there will be a high magnetic flux density in the magnetic circuit.

Sparks houses a 6mm dynamic driver coated with Beryllium and supported by a PU suspension ring, which ensure that the Sparks can deliver a dynamic sound while maintaining clarity. Relying on the built-in DSP of the Bluetooth chip and professional tuning by the acoustic teams at Moondrop, the frequency response of Sparks TWS is fully in line with the new VDSF target curve. The pair has a lively and energetic sound output with rich punchy bass, beautiful vocals, and a detailed treble portion.

With high efficiency external magnetic circuit, it improves the system's energy conversion efficiency to 1.4 times the original. It also supports aptX, SBC and AAC high-quality transmission protocol, bringing high-rate, low power consumption, low latency and high-fidelity transmission. The Sparks earbuds can play music for up to 8 hours on a single charge, and the charging case can charge the earbuds for 5 to 6 times providing you with worry-free playback time up to 48 hours.

Does having aptX Adaptive (279 to 420kps) means that these will support and can go up to aptX-HD (24-bit transmission, up to 576 Kbits), like the Bowers and Wilkins IP7, or are they just limited to normal aptX? The aptX website says that LL “backwards compatible” with HD. I would like to confirm if this set connects via aptX-HD and preceives audio at 24-bits.

    Thank you.
