Just days after unveiling the MOONDROP Armature Art 12, the brand has already raised the stakes, and the driver count, with the surprise announcement of the MOONDROP Armature Art 24. As the name suggests, this new flagship IEM packs 24 balanced armature drivers per side. Let's get into!

This configuration of 24 drivers per side is not an exaggeration. To achieve the full potential of this setup, it is essential to design and allocate the hardware thoughtfully, as well as adhere to specific specifications. The AA24 utilizes a significant number of specially customized non-standard components. Through imaginative design and unique ingenuity, it successfully coordinates and unifies the 24 balanced armature drivers. As a result, it achieves sound characteristics that only multiple drivers can deliver, meeting expectations in terms of density, quality, spatial representation, and dynamics.

The innovative SUPERWOOFER module organizes the 16 bass drivers in the AA24 into eight groups, strategically arranging them along the sound transmission path in a uniform and gradually delayed sequence. This design enhances sound dispersion and creates a more realistic auditory experience. Consequently, users can enjoy an unprecedented rich background and a unique, dense, and punchy mid-bass.

In the mid-high frequency range, four aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragms are employed to achieve sufficient density and exceptional quality while minimizing poor coupling that can occur from stacking mid-range drivers. The lightweight nature of the aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm allows for a wider frequency range and faster response speed compared to traditional aluminum diaphragm balanced armatures. This sound is further refined through an acoustic channel constructed using 3D printing, faithfully presenting the frequency range assigned to each driver.

The four customized aluminum-magnesium alloy diaphragm upper-treble dynamic drivers feature a specially designed damping suspension that provides a rapid response and excellent damping characteristics. Each driver is integrated with precisely 3D-printed acoustic channels that effectively minimize the phase interference of upper-treble sound waves, resulting in smooth and detailed upper-treble reproduction.

The AA24 features a panel made from ferroalloy material, with a surface adorned in a stunning crystal texture that resembles an ice flower. This effect is achieved through advanced techniques and enhanced by a nitriding treatment that significantly boosts wear resistance, allowing the beautiful ice flower pattern to last over time.

This model is equipped with a 0.78 2-pin socket, allowing users to expand their experience by replacing cables or accessories, such as the EVO module or FreeDSP Pro cable.

To help users better match their equipment, MOONDROP provides a newly designed earphone cable with interchangeable plug, and features a newly designed screw-fixed plug, combining aesthetic design with practicality. 

For the cable, They have carefully selected a high-quality option based on extensive user testing and internal evaluations. The cable consists of 19 cores of high-quality single crystal copper and 19 cores of pure silver, ensuring users enjoy a premium listening experience without the need for cable upgrades. Additionally, the outer layer of the cable is wrapped in a durable woven material for added longevity.

The AA24 comes with three different types of ear tips. In addition to traditional silicone ear tips and UC ear tips, it includes a new ATF series ear tip made from a combination of sponge and silicone. This innovative design provides flexible memory and slow resilience, enhancing comfort and offering excellent noise cancellation. Its unique structure and material composition help eliminate the drawbacks that traditional sponge ear tips can have on sound quality.
