It has a simple and convenient control system, which can switch the function circuit modules separately. DA1 adopts AKM flagship 32-bit AK4499EQ DAC chipset and well-received proprietary Jitter Interface Control (JIC) FPGA solution for top-notch digital processing performance.
At pure DAC mode, the power supply to the headphone amplification and preamplifier circuit will switch into parallel regulator automatically, this will maintain the circuit in optimal temperature and audio performance. With top-rated decoding capability, dual clock (SYNC/ASYNC) multiple filtering modes switch to combine different sounds. DA1 has a widely recognized XMOS solution with customized (with license) Thesycon driver. The analog section is a fully balanced design with discrete components. The Class A circuit can be configured as a headphone amplifier or pre-amplifier depending on the user application. Rated at up to 5 watts per channel (at 32 Ohm), you can expect a stellar dynamic range and headroom, even when fed with a difficult load.
With both digital and analog inputs in place, YULONG DA1 can serve as your personal audio hub for varieties of applications. Exceptionally well measurement and stunningly refined and musical sound makes it worthy. The DA1 operation is controlled intuitively through a single high precision probably damped volume knob. All playback and setting information are clearly displayed on the IPS wide-angle LCD screen. USB Audio supports MS Windows, macOS, and Linux to meet different users' need. It also optimizes the compatibility and stability with Android, iOS mobile devices and tablet devices.
To fully explore DA1 function, Yulong have designed an exotic 240W external power supply to enhance the audio performance for the most demanding users. You could stack up with the optional power supply that they developed alongside the DA1 from the very beginning. This is an optional but significant upgrade from the 50W power supply in the Yulong DA1.
